Learn How to Use Foursquare to Market on a Shoestring!
Foursquare is a hot new marketing tool that uses cell phones to let your customers tell their friends where they are and help them find out where their friends are hanging out. It also allows them to post reviews, collect points, win prize “badges,” and includes little pop-up coupons that will be the future of how retail business will be found by Gen-Y mobile users.
Six months after that article was written, over 2 million users are now using this phone application to find their friends and support their favorite businesses. This
marketing workshop is being taught by CJ Lucke, Social Media Consultant and Richie Edquid, Events Marketer – who understand the business reasons for using technology. They are not associated with the Foursquare company in any way – they just see it’s potential and want San Diego businesses to learn about it first. They will explain Foursquare in easy to understand terms and have you ready to start sending out coupons and building client relationships by the end of the night.
The
workshop is very affordable – only $40 per business and up to 2 people can come from your business for that price. After the
workshop, we will walk over to Ono Sushi to see how they have been successfully using Foursquare – and also have a few drinks!
